Investigadora Juan de la Cierva al Departament d’Antropologia Social de la Universitat de Barcelona.
Sevda és Doctora en Ciències Polítiques i Socials per la Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Llicenciada en Ciències Polítiques i Relacions Internacionals per la Universitat de Bogazici amb un màster en desenvolupament social per la University College London i un altre en migracions per la Universitat Pompeu Fabra. La seva activitat investigadora actual tracta les experiències de nacionals de tercers països amb estatus legal precari en el context de les polítiques d’immigració i asil de la UE.
