The international seminar “La mobilidad de los immigrantes rom entre Rumania y España” will take place on March 30th from 9.30 to 13.30 at the Sala de Juntes of the Faculty of Geography and History of the UB, arranged by the Roma Initiative Office of the Open Society Institute in collaboration with the European Social Research Unit and the PRISM project. Speakers include Claudiu-Traian Covaciu, President of the International Romani Union; Iulian Stoian, Chief of Staff of the Agencia Nacional para los Roma; Albert Sales, Asesor de la Tinença d’Alcaldia de Drets Socials de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona; Geanina Boicu, General Consul of the General Consulate of Romania in Catalonia; Carmen Leal Casa, Cap de Seccío de Programes d’Inersció Social i Laboral of the Ajuntament de Valencia; Pedro Navarrete, Expert on social integration of Roma in Madrid; and Ioana Vrăbiescu, RIO Fellow at the Open Society Institute.
