Ignacio Elpidio Domínguez Ruiz holds a BS in Business Administration (Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid) and a BA in Art History (Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia), a MA in Publicly Oriented Anthropology (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid) and a MA in history research (UNED): He also has a PhD in Human Sciences (Anthropology) from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with a thesis on the role of the LGBTI Pride in Madrid’s tourism promotion and image, regarding World Pride 2017. His research focuses on the intersection of tourism with urban and LGBTI studies, as well as victimisation and inequalities. 

In the European Social Research Unit he has worked in the LetsGoByTalking project, and he is currently working in the INCA project. He also work as a lecturer at the UB and the UOC.
