SupportVoC project organised the workshop “Guaranteeing the rights of victims of crime through the implementation of Generic Support Services”, on the 6th and 7th of June in Cyprus. The workshop, which brought together experts and professionals from different EU countries, aimed to share experiences and possibilities for the implementation of these services in Member States that have not yet fully completed the practical transposition of Directive 2012/29/EU.
The workshop was also an opportunity to share the results of the project and the Generic Plan for the organisation and implementation of Victims Support Services, and to debate different methods to guarantee its practical implementation under the particular framework of each participant country, as well as the possibilities of transferability of these practices. The results of the workshop will be the basis for the production of a guide that will present the Generic Plan together with the analysis of barriers and opportunities for its implementation in Italy, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Greece, as well as good practices potentially transferable to other contexts.
